I've written a variety of personal essays that have been featured in many online publications. I have even been featured in an edition of Chicken Soup for the Soul.

I have experience creating and maintaining various websites, writing copy, creating email marketing newsletters and editing blog and social media content for local small businesses.
Spoken Word and Advocacy
I am a professional School Counselor and in this role, enjoy working with members of my community and incorporate writing and visual arts in my daily practice when applicable. I am also a proud survivor of an advanced stage cancer and have spoken at conferences and in front of medical professionals about my experience in order to advocate for patient focused care incorporating the Arts. As part of this personal journey, I have written and performed live readings of my personal essays, including a reading at the Sotille Theater as part of Charleston's "Listen to Your Mother" series. I have also been featured on Live5 News and as one of Amy Poehler's "Smart Girls".
